the Sat Night Fever clip I meant, before the You're the one that I want clip lol

Was rather busy during summer 1978, hence the missing out on Grease :-D

237, hope Mr Trav was as nice as he appears to be
I think it was the word ' shapes' that bought Olivia to mind ;-)
now, I wonder why? .....

:-) x
Yep. Been long haul for 23 years. It suits me. I'm nocturnal.
I have qute a lot of musical films but the one I really, really want never seems to have been released....
Porgy and Bess.
So many well-known songs and such a stellar cast that I've never been able to fathom quite why the studio has not released it. :o(
Blimey it must suit you, 237SJ. 23 years ( will you get a gold watch in 2 years time ? ).
Heres a clip though, jack.
23 years long haul?!! dear lawd. If I was wearing a hat, I'd take it off and bow.
However, I'm afraid you'll have to make do with a cyber one.
That is blinking impressive xx
Cheers, Tony.
But that's a modern version......

This is the one I mean;
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0053182/

I'm not a fan of musicals in general, but there are some I love, all of which have been mentioned already. Grease, Rocky Horror, Oliver!, The Sound of Music.
Jack, if it's sill an on-going Broadway show it probably won't be released.
Only a suggestion, as I was looking for a musical a couple of months ago and search engine said it was on Broadway and won't be on tinterweb. Not fair!!
Ah I see, jack. No sign of anything from the original, jack.
Anyhoo.
The film was made in 1957, albs.....

I saw in on (Sunday afternoon) TV a couple of times but haven't seen it for the best part of (gulps as she tots up the passage of time) 35 years, or so.... :o/
1959, for heaven's sake....!!!
totting up the passage of time should be illegal lol

it's too scary ! x
Thanks for that, Maizie.......disappointing as it is. :o(
I know, would love to see it Jack.
I thought it was Sykes but the Internet in general seems divided and this suggests (and I assume it is original) that it is Sikes.
