When did the policeman get together with the woman he was marrying? The series doesn't look to have moved on chronologically looking at the baby but I don't recall a romance in the last series. Think they're struggling with a new series, time to call it a day?

I found it rather silly and I usually enjoy it. I felt they dealt very badly with the suspected heart failure. Yes I know it's pretend but there was something about it that irritated me.

She said ( if i heard properly ) that one more series is planned

By the way she looked even prettier ( in my opinion ) than in the show

Lia Williams,who played the literary agent in Strike doesn't play the pharmacist .Selina Cadell plays Mrs Tishell.
Lia Williams played Edith Montgomery an old friend of Doc Martin from medical school.
She's also a doctor and they were once engaged in their youth.She's the one who got him to go for therapy about his blood phobia.
I enjoyed it and so did my butler :)
