Mr Alba used to like DiP and avoided this as he didn't like the trailers.
Suggested he kept an open mind but he said the trailers were always showing the best bits of a programme so it was a 'no thank you'
I really like DIP - it does what it says on the tin. A light hearted murder mystery in a fabulous setting with very likeable characters.
I think Detective Mooney has fit in just fine but I still miss the most beautiful woman in the world, Camille, and Fidel. JP still needs to sort his accent out, when he first came on the show he kept slipping in to his native London accent and he still struggles a bit
I quite like Ardal in the part. I wasn't keen on Kris Marshall as I always see him as a bit of an idiot. The best was Ben Miller, I was gutted when he left.
isn't this where people end up dead on a small paradise island, its a comedy drama i suppose but its a bit like midsomer murders but in the heat of the tropics.
A very funny moment in one of the episodes was when he was driving down the road and nearly knocked this woman down .
Gets out of the vehicle only to realise that the woman was someone from back home ; who he obviously had had a thing for .
The following interaction between the two was very funny .
Quite liked it as it is 'easy watching' - you don't need a science degree or subtitles to tell you who is who and what is going on. Thought he tended to be a bit 'Columbo' ish but it'll do for me.
