Ep.2 and now we're getting somewhere - sex and blood!
Actually the blood scene in the armoured car was quite well done and the sex bit was nicely underplayed.
But they can't keep on being lovers for another 4 episodes - can they?
What is going to happen next? Roll on Sunday!
margarettom - I don't understand why you can't get sub-titles on catch-up. If you are referring to BBC I-player or 4 on-demand, ITV Hub, there is an S at the bottom for subtitles - I never have a problem.
Yes Margarettom - Fox Lee is right - to access the subtitles on catch up I have to press OK which brings up a bar on the bottom of the screen and the S is there - along with the pause facility etc. Good luck - I need subtitles too and am not deaf but find TV dialogue difficult.
I must have been watching a different program to you guys. I watched the first 2 episodes and couldn't believe that someone had written such predictable and unbelievable rubbish!
Especially the scenes relating to the assassination attempt on her. First, he leaves her in harm's way whilst they are both being shot at.. surely he would have thought to move her before.. then he leaves her completely unguarded whilst he goes after the shooter. If he did that in real life he would probably be fired! Then the shooter turns out to be his friend who has been threatening her life and he has never reported him to anyone!
I just couldnt watch any more...
the bodywork of the car was armour plated so she was safer inside it..and there were back up vehicles around their car...as he knew the sniper was on the roof he took the car to a blind spot and pursued the gunman on foot whilst the back ups monitored the outside..perfect sense to me... and his friend thought that he had been taken off the job before he hit....
Bagpuss //I must have been watching a different program to you guys//
Yeah, that could be the case. I agree with Minty, he couldn't have dreamt that the attempted assassin would carry out such an attack anyway, and the safest place for the moment was lying flat on the floor of the armoured car while he managed to get the dead driver out of his seat and move the car himself, pronto.
Do we have a new Jack Bauer of '24' we wonder?
One thing though, how could they not know who the asassin was ? They said that his finger prints didn't show up anyone, but surely if he had been in the army they would have had his prints ?
I was shocked how good it is really. The first episode was gripping and the second one, well I did not see that shootout coming. Not sure how the story is going to go either. Roll on Sunday.
