Chris Evans Leaving Radio 2

Was anyone else shocked this morning to hear Chris Evans announce that he is leaving Radio 2 at the end of this year. I regularly listen to his breakfast show in the mornings. I wonder who they will choose to take over from him, any suggestions?

Evans is so unentertaining, he added to Terry Wogan's numbers who listen to the breakfast show, douglas. Personally i think he's done a very good job and i wish him well in whatever the future holds for him. I did hear him say he still wants to be involved in the Carfests and the 500 words.

Can't say I'm sorry to see him go, too shouty for my liking and quite a lot of me, me, me. Also sick of hearing "how do you like your toast in the morning". Not sure who I would like to replace him, maybe a completely new face would be best.

Evans going to Virgin Radio. I'd definitely continue tuning into the breakfast slot if Sarah Cox took over. I find her to be a very enthusiastic and bubbly presenter who normally puts an early morning smile on my face.

They might not allow Simon Mayo, as he did his time on the show at Radio 1.

Also as he is getting older, he might not want the early starts.

He would get my vote though.
