Jean de Florette; La Haine(The Hate) the best film I've ever seen about disaffected youth and set in Paris and dealing with the anger of the immigrant communities-very relevant today-it's brilliant and it's got Vincent Cassel in it. He's married to Monica Belluci; La Reine Margot about the St.Bartholomew's Day Massacre of 1572 with Isabelle Adjani & Daniel Auteuil; Cyrano de Bergerac with Gerard Depardieu and Plein Soleil the 1960 version of The Talented Mr Ripley with Alain Delon.
