Does anyone know if you have to pay a fee for having a band play someone elses music in a film? If so, approximately how much? The film is for a Uni. project, but will be screened- without profit, at a small cinema venue. PLEASE help!

Yes, you probably will have to pay but the Uni may already have the right permission.

Check with the Performing Rights Society. They must have a website and I know they have a freephone number.
