I was on my way to the hospice yesterday, I got to the top of Frocester Hill and the engine light came on. Oops I thought, get to trundlebuggy hospital. so took it easy getting there, my mate, who owns the place, Had a quick look, told me to take it home and come back down in the morning i.e. today and he'll sort it out. he will drive me back home. He obviously knows what it is. so that's today taken care of. So I'll write a load of christmas cards today. So the hospice will have to wait until Monday. Always at the most inconvenient time in't it!
Gotcha Ozz. I had a quick scan through to see if it had been mentioned and missed that.
Morning Minty. No tree up yet. "She who must be obeyed" has her birthday on the 10th and the tree does not go up until afterwards, probably about the 15th. We have something that her late mother used to have. I think you may mean that Minty.
because he usually says adios, anyway time to settle down and have another coffee in a minute and watch the rain pelt down, its windy too which blows down my chimney.
We will still have that tucked away Minty, but we also have a very old glass bauble that used to be on the tree when "She" was a girl. We will be putting that up as usual, along with the memento that you mention.
the old family bits are so special Togo....I have an angel that oh's youngest made when he was 6..toilet roll and glitter and it has pride of place 20 years later...think he is quite chuffed I still have it !!
Morning , been up a while but got distracted watching baby elephant videos... third coffee nearly finished. Oh God I am sore from yesterday. Might see if there is a quiet spell in the pool today. Or go to a different centre for a sauna and plunge.
Up to no good, sending out letters from Santa to a couple of children pointing out their names are magically moving from the nice to naughty list and they only have a few days to move back. A print out of the list with a few friends names amongst the made up ones tends to convince them. Their name greyed on both sides as if it isn't decided. Works wonders on keeping them controlled during the build up.
