Friday. Not raining, bur it's still wet outside.
I was on my way to the hospice yesterday, I got to the top of Frocester Hill and the engine light came on. Oops I thought, get to trundlebuggy hospital. so took it easy getting there, my mate, who owns the place, Had a quick look, told me to take it home and come back down in the morning i.e. today and he'll sort it out. he will drive me back home. He obviously knows what it is. so that's today taken care of. So I'll write a load of christmas cards today. So the hospice will have to wait until Monday. Always at the most inconvenient time in't it!
Have a happy day everyone.

He was looking forward to leaving town but didn't get far.
The vehicle's engine sputtered and the vehicle stalled.
All his plans for the weekend have been blackballed.
Running around just like a chicken with no head.
Stroud's out with the engine for being dead
It didn't quite care that all the week he's worked hard
And his plans for the TA and canal he must now discard.
And all the garages will soon be closed.
As to destiny's joke he's been exposed.
Time will be wasted and Xmas cards to be revived
The bloody broken engine blew them sky-high.
