Settled down to watch the England/France game, but why oh why do they have to have that flippin' soprano woman singing the national anthem? I love to hear the team and spectators singing but her voice drowns them out and she put a different note in at the end. Rant over, I'll shut up and watch it now:-))

Agreed. Laura Wright her name is, and she’s awful. Time to kick her into touch
On BBC Breakfast this morning, as usual they were trying to push women’s rugby (which Laura Wright plays) yet not one spectator could be seen in the entire stadium. When will the BBC realise no-one is interested in women’s rugby and many other women’s sports. Booooooring!
Women's rugby is growing in popularity and stature. So maybe don't exaggerate the lack of interest.
I also noticed the empty stadium for the women's match. Pathetic, isn't it? Also agree re Laura Wright. The TV cameras never show her anymore, but sadly we still hear her
No exaggeration. Not one seat (that thecameras showed) was filled.

At the risk of upsetting the sisterhood, I have to agree about women's rugby. As far as I'm concerned rugby always has and always will be a game played by strong, muscle bound men. ;-))
Horeselady// strong, muscle bound men//
I played rugby union for many years, but I can assure you that I never came across any muscle bound players. The pack members were certainly hefty but not muscle bound.

I knew I was describing it wrongly dannyk13. Sorry, I meant fit men with strong muscles, as soon as I sent it I thought "oh dear, shouldn't have said that"
