They need to get back to the type of believable characters they used to have with storylines that people can relate too.Now it seems that both Emmerdale and Coronation Street are trying to outdo one another with the ridiculousness of their storylines.As a result,if Answerbank is anything to go by, a mass turn off of watchers.

I’ve watched all the soaps since I was a child, with my mum, but for the first time ever I don’t record them if I’m busy. I just miss them. They are so far fetched it’s laughable. And as for the upcoming Gemma storyline well don’t even get me started!!

I have loved Coro since day one ...give or take some yrs... But I agree...they have lost the plot and story lines are dire. The humour has gone.... And endearing characters with it. Shame really but this is progress ..hmmm well that's what they say and you're right each trying to outdo each...and don't talk to me about Eastbenders ...... I think Coro is going that way what with dark sets you have a job to see the characters in... Who are these so called writers where do they dig them up from. Answers on a postcard to...
