Just sat here and put TV on, and a James Bind film came on - Living Daylights, with Timothy Dalton. Now I’m not a JB expert at all, but Timothy Dalton was my worst JB. As for best, well before my time It would definitely be Sean Connery. As for recently well I did like Daniel Craig. You??

It's one of those times where you actually take a step back and realise something - and a few days ago, thinking about James Bond, I realised I actually never really liked any of the films very much.

Sean Connery is the prototype, but he made his films before he became more famous for being an utterly one-dimensional actor who only ever plays himself.

I quite liked Roger Moore who clearly didn't take the films, or himself, too seriously, and I find Daniel Craig to be a humourless shallow cypher.

I would have thought such an 'of its time' character as James
Bond would have fallen out of favour by now, but it seems not.

Yes, Andy, a few years ago I too realised I wasn't enjoying them and stopped watching them.

Roger Moore without a doubt, but I liked Connery too.

I really am not a Daniel Craig fan.

Definitely Roger Moore and my favourite films were Live and Let Die and They Spy Who Loved Me. Theme tunes were excellent as well :o)

I did try to watch the Daniel Craig films but they seemed to me to be just explosion after explosion and I decided it wasn't worth the thumping headache.
