It's one of those times where you actually take a step back and realise something - and a few days ago, thinking about James Bond, I realised I actually never really liked any of the films very much.
Sean Connery is the prototype, but he made his films before he became more famous for being an utterly one-dimensional actor who only ever plays himself.
I quite liked Roger Moore who clearly didn't take the films, or himself, too seriously, and I find Daniel Craig to be a humourless shallow cypher.
I would have thought such an 'of its time' character as James
Bond would have fallen out of favour by now, but it seems not.
