I only managed to watch the first two series. By the third, i felt that the originality of the two time spans had been lost and, with it, the novelty. I did try a couple of episodes of the third but couldn't recapture the enthusiasm i previously had. Still, it is a long time to wait between series but i suppose that is the norm these days. Actors and actresses become well known, and much sought after, and there are only so many hours in a day. Writers, too, must be under immense pressure to maintain standards otherwise these programmes can end up nothing more than soap operas. Ask yourself this question; Would i rather wait a while longer to watch a top quality series or would i prefer to watch the next series right this instant, no matter how preposterous the plot?

Never seen it but Geektown says they are currently filming Series 5 in Scotland and there will be a further series after that. It will be shown on Amazon Prime.

some scenes were filmed in Paisley a couple of Sundays ago.
Have no idea what season it was tho as I had heard Season 5 was already being edited.
