Did you see the young guy (a financial auditor who also sets quizzes) who used every lifeline to get to £2000. I was gobsmacked that he didn't know which airline was founded in Australia and thought it might be Ryanair!!! Then fair enough if he didn't know which King signed Magna Carta so phones a friend with a history degree and he wasn't that sure either. The mind boggles.

doesn't suprise me, history curriculum these days consists mainly of the evils of the British Empire and TGL.
