It's interesting to see how the women in the programme see the exact opposite.
But hey, you keep reminding her eh?

Mamy; after watching the Dublin murders, i was channel-hopping and caught some of this programme on 4+1. In the few minutes i caught, she was being persuaded to wear the tribe women's traditional garb. She said she'd do it if she could wear a vest, then a swimsuit. Then she burst into tears, while banging on about how much she hates her body. Then i continued channel hopping. It was only a couple of years back she was flashing her body here, there and everywhere, having released a fitness video. Wonder how many women she 'body-shamed' during that period of her life?
Not necessary to make comments about her weight.
I came across the programme whilst flicking channels and stopped there because of the surprise of seeing a very British style house in the middle of african scrub. Not a programme I would choose to watch, but it was good to see the encouragement she received from the tribal girls to be proud of her curves.

"Surprised no one has played the race card yet. Apparently according to news reports, a number of viewers have."
It's not racist in the slightest unless you've got zero clue what racism means.
It is showing the polar opposites of life and culture. How is that racist?
The british family are learning from the african tribe and vise versa.
The african tribe is half nomadic, so the fact they built the house means nothing to the tribes village.
It's actually very good, and shows insight into what really matters in life. Yes, it's a bit savage watching the british family have running taps, whilst the africans have to walk 20 minutes to dig waster out of a hole in the floor.. but hat is the point of the show! To show us how drastically different our lifes are.
