Don't be so absent minded. There is more to it than that. Maybe watch the show then we can discuss it properly?
Half the tribe has moved to live in the city. Those left in the tribe have never experienced this, so the Moffatt's living next door gives them an insight into that life, as well as us an insight into theirs.
Fact is, the village's tribe agreed to the British coming over, building a house, and seeing how each other live. The tribe like the family, they've found friends in them. There is no racism or uncomfortability.
Hi Folks,
This made me laugh because Miss Moffat sits on a Toffat in a little village called Toft Hill, near Bishop Auckland and its NOT a Victorian Terrace, its a rather nice modern detached with spectacular views. Its worth a watch but will probably be scripted like these journalists who venture into the wilds of Africa and the tribesman all have iphones.
Spath, I learned how people lived like this when I was at school, ( age 8 to 13 years. All they've done is spend boat loads of money In a different way. It would have been more interesting if they'd built 3/4 wells in that area with the budget, and they had helped, plus she may have slimmed down in the process. She didn't even want to walk to were they got the water from, never mind help.
Spath the wrong end of the stick is getting very worn you've grabbed it that often. I meant by the pound as in weight. Fat lasses are revered in some countries and as such she would be worth quite a few cows I would reckon. And before you kick off on one of your snowflake rants she's a Northern Lass and more than likely would laugh at that herself.
I know what you meant. If you watch the programme, you'll see how when Charlotte is getting upset, it's because she's upset that how the tribes woman want her curves, and she doesn't, so she gets upset that they're talking about it. Many of the older men also talk about how attractive the older sister is.
