not just the face but that body that seems so out of shape. Not sure what she is trying to prove, but at 58, which isn't old, she could do with taking a leaf out of Helen Mirren's book,

I am absolutely in favour of anyone looking the best that they can, as they see it, and that is the important thing.

Ms Vorderman clearly believes that having a shape that looks like she is wearing a fat suit filled with polystyrene balls, and a face that makes her look like a squirrel storing nuts, then its her absolute right do so.

But as a media figure, in our obsessively judgmental culture, she is going to get laughed at for it on sites like this one.

That's not right, but it's the price of fame.

I dislike intensely, not for her absurd alterations to her appearance, but for her foghorn voice and her utter absence of anything approaching a sense of humour.

I don't really care much about celebrities but I have found Carol Vorderman such a disapoinment over the years. She was brilliant on Countdown and as someone who managed a very average maths degree in a male dominated subject (me that is) I really admired her intelligence in her subject matter. But after that she first she sold herself to advertise anything going and using her intelligence to sway us and now her body alterations are quite ridiculous. I feel she has let women down.
