Has anyone noticed that the ad breaks are longer, with more ads than the norm? Or is it my imagination ?

I used to put the kettle on one ad break and go back and make the tea the next ad break, now i can boil the kettle, make the tea, get the bicuits and still have time to get back and settled before some programs come back on.

It is not your imagination, bobbie, and it is not just on commercial stations. I find the BBC programmes are sandwiched by interminable (so it seems) trailers which are repeated so often I feel bored by them and resolve not to watch the programmes. Therefore, it is all rather self-defeating in this household.
