I'm trying to remember the name of a childrens film I watched about 15years ago, something to do with the boogie man but all I can remember is that he get's sucked up by a hover.

Probably totally wrong, but Drop Dead Fred? I don't think he got sucked up by a hoover, by lots of other stuff happened to him like getting his head stuck in a fridge door. He was an imaginary friend of a little girl and used to cause loads of trouble, like spreading dog poo on the furniture. Fred was played by that fella from Bottom whose name totally escapes me at the moment. Not Ade Edmondson, the other one.
