I was very sad to hear that Dave Rainford has died at the young age of 51yrs.

He seemed such a nice guy.

He was one of the Eggheads when my team was on. He was really welcoming and friendly, and a competitive and knowledgable quizzer. Nice bloke. RIP

We were only talking about him the other day hoping he'd be back for the new series. How very sad he always seemed like such a nice man, always gracious if defeated.
