They were very careful in the TV drama never to have Charles & Diana discussing cheating or coughing or using Whittock

Hi roy- I stopped organising weekly paper quizzes at work in around 1998 because most people started used the internet. I agree they didn't have access via phones

Roy- was that the same Paddy Spooner on the clip you posted? It ended before the last couple of rounds. How much did he win?

Thanks. I can see how they got onto the 'fastest finger' section and some onto the show but am not sure how they got much help once they were on

Paddy was the most interesting thing about the drama and should have featured more imo.

To Gollob @22.05.I imagine a number of people got as far as fastest finger first and no further and came back again and got on the show and nothing wrong in that.Trevor Montague got his £32,000 question wrong following a large percentage of the studio audience thus winning £1,000.His court case with William G Stewart was different,he appeared a second time wearing a mask and was called Steve Romano.He was spotted on challenge by an eagle eyed viewer who alerted the appropriate people.
