We all saw Geoff set fire to the house. Apparently Aliya walked through the blazing house to get to Yasmin, how come none of the neighbours noticed the house was on fire.

They didn't notice anything, the kerfuffle on the roof, Geoff falling off and pegging it! They were all to busy 'we shall overcome-ing'!
was there much of a fire?? Maybe it never took off, theres been no mention since of the damage to the house??
True story. My parents lived in a terraced house in the 60s, the sort you could hear the neighbours' sneeze and mash the potatoes.
The neighbours on the right were out at work every day from 7am to 7pm, they both worked at the same place so my mother was used to hearing nothing at all from that side during the day.
Neighbours came home one evening and the house had been stripped, totally. Even the carpets and the huge old fashioned wardrobes had gone, we never could work out how they got them down the stairs.
My mother was at home all day and heard nothing, none of the neighbours saw anything.
The burglars did leave some blood on the wall but this was long before DNA. They were never caught. My neighbours were only renting and hadn't bothered to insure their possessions.
I thought the end of Geoff was a bit of an anticlimax ,it just seemed to 'fizz' and die
We must of missed a few minutes as a dont remember Gary or anyone hearing Ray trying to rape Fay, not sure when that scene was
Gary went to the Bistro and saw Faye coming out of Rays office ,her hair messy and fastening her shirt up with him behind her , I think this was a bad taste story personally
I remember it, it was behind closed doors and she kept saying 'no' and 'Ray, stop'! I think it was Gary who overheard.
What was he there for ( Gary) ? ILM ?
Just found the clip now thanks iluvmargie

It must of been the first few seconds of a recent episode as we sometimes miss a few seconds
I read that the scriptwriters had big plans for last week, the 60th anniversary of Corrie, something to top the tram crash, but all that had to be binned due to Covid. Earlier in the year I read that Yasmeen's and Geoff's storyline would be the big Christmas cliffhanger.
I think the scriptwriters brought the current 'big' stories to an end during the anniversary week - Oliver's death and the freeing of Yasmeen. Both seemed a bit rushed.
I am now thinking the Christmas shocker will be the end of Gary's freedom but as I try to avoid spoilers I haven't read anything about that. I think Rick's murder will finally be resolved.
I don't think I have ever seen Maria smile.
Bout time with Gary haha, he's the most unlikeliest looking gangster ever :0))
I can't remember Bobbie, maybe he was looking for Ray. I remember Faye coming out all disheveled and Ray partly undressed. I agree with you, it left a sour taste and I used to like Ray, not any more of course!
The attempted rape of Faye was very well done. We knew exactly what was going on without having to see it, unlike Toyah's rape which was harrowing to watch.
Of course, it wasn't done like that to save our sensibilities but because of Covid. Hard to sexually assault a person whilst keeping 2m apart :D
Yes barry, the net is closing in on Gary.

You're welcome bobbinwales.
You liked Ray after the sleazy way he behaved with Michelle and Alya? He has been a sleazebag from the start, horrible man.
Yes I did.
Im just surprised Ray is still walking after what he did to Faye, really I am and gary walking in!!
