//I would consider manipulation of a child in this way to be abuse, but I'm not an unhinged climate moron willing to exploit my child.//

Was that aimed at me, because if it was, where the *** did that come from, because it had no relevance to anything I said. If you can't conduct a civil conversation, I'd rather you disregard my posts.
Mozz, Andy's not in a good mood tonight. He doesn't like not to have the last word. Don't take him too serioiusly - he does that for himself.
I'm not Atheist, but if Andy, or anyone else can't continue what was a civil conversation without the aggression he showed in his last post, there seems little point in engaging in conversation in the first place.
Mozz, I think Andy's "moron" jibe was aimed at Greta's parents, not you. It was not a worthy contribution to the discussion, but Andy does seem to get a bit hot under the collar when presented with any disagreement; that's why he and Naomi are a good match. Neither wants the other to get away with the last word.
Oh I realise that, it was just the way he turned from discussing the documentary, to throwing abuse at her parents, after I'd already stated that they didn't seem to be controlling her, rather than enabling her. Meh.
Wasting your breath Mozz because he won’t watch the film so to me any argument he claims to have is invalid.
I'm npt turning this into a thread about Andy, so I'll leave it at that. If Andy wants to resume the conversation without the attitude, I've no problem. If not, well, I've said my bit about the film. Nothing much else to add.
We watched the programme..well, we watched the first 15 minutes but found it to be pretty boring so switched it off.
Well, it wasn't the most exciting 90 minutes I've spent (that's pretty savage considering how many Spurs games I've watched over the years) but it was never going to be a laugh-a-minute!

You're quite right, what I said had no relevance to anything you said, so quite why you would imagine that my comment was aimed at you is a complete mystery.

Unless you have kept it quiet about being a parent to Ms Thunberg, my observation is clearly not aimed at you in any way shape or form - so I am happy to continue to respond to your posts.

For the record, I would anyway - that's not a choice you get to make.
Atheist - // Andy, you seem to be a slightly unhinged enemy of this young woman, with a bit of a fixation on her. //

Nothing I have said on this thread or any other points to me being an 'enemy' of Ms Thunberg - just her parents and their fellow manipulators, I think she is innocent and used.

// You certainly don't have any respect for young people's views. //

Please see the response above.

// Why aren't you writing your music articles, instead of obsessing here? //

I am not 'obsessing' as you put it - and I can actually do more than one thing at a time - and indeed I am doing - in the middle of a feature right now.
//You're quite right, what I said had no relevance to anything you said, so quite why you would imagine that my comment was aimed at you is a complete mystery//

I meant was your post in general aimed towards me, as I said in a subsequent reply, I knew the actual insult wasn't. My point was, and remains that we were in the middle of a civil conversation, when you suddenly explode into a mini rant which had nothing to do with the discussion in hand.

Seems to be a rather random exclamation, and as we were in discussion at the time, surely you can understand why I may have thought your outburst was a part of it.
Mozz, I tend to type as I think, but I never throw insults at AB'ers, although I am happy to do so at people I am confident won't see what I write.

If you felt my conversational swerve made you uncomfortable, it was absolutely not my intention - please accept my apologies for any offence when none was intended.
Okay, thank you. We'll leave it at that.
