I have not watched this documentary, but I am not ignorant of Ms Thunberg's previous attention-seeking nonsense, or the hostile reception it has received - which may not be justified in its intensity, but is understandable.

Stickybottle - // You’ve not watched it so that confirms the level of ignorance or off hand manner in which you dismiss her. //
I do not need to have watched this one specific documentary in order to form and express an opinion on Ms Thunburg and her antics - I am sure you would not simply base your views on her on just this one programme - or maybe you would.

andy, it is the MESSAGE, not the messenger I commend.
As AuntPollyGrey correctly says about many, many, being unaware about the way we 'acquire' dairy/meat produce (some wilfully 'unaware'). many (most?) are unaware of the environmental disaster we are possibly facing, and even if the politicians et al know, they would never tell us/be allowed to tell us.
People have been dying of starvation for over 50 years also and may likely be dying of starvation 50 years from now.

To you Andy she is the message, THAT is your problem. //
What makes you think it is a problem?
I shall think briefly about Ms Thunberg for the duration of this thread, and then I will promptly forget all about her until the next time she crops up.
No problem at all.

World leaders are, by definition, adults and adults to do take kindly to be lectured at by attention-seeking teenagers who have nothing new to add to the debate except an undeserved sense of entitlement based on the fact that they are going to be here after the leaders have gone.
Hahaha, so by that rationale Donald Trump is a wise sage, measured and statesmanlike?
Lol
The Brazilian leader(I believe) referred to her as a brat.
What a command of diplomatic language he has.

No, by that definition, world leaders have reached the age of consent, and as a rule, are a reasonable distance beyond it - please don't twist the point I am making to suit your animosity, it's not how debate works.

I would not for one moment condone the abuse of anyone by someone with the power to offer that abuse via the world's media.

Stickybottle // Yes parrot woman, I have.
I tend to research a subject if I’m gong to debate it.
Maybe you could try it?//
Maybe you could try to debate like an adult? Big ask but......
Try reading what other links contributors (me) have posted re Greta on a thread before making a fool of yourself.
I have nothing against the girl or her message. I think she is being manipulated and feel sorry for her.
