I think he's new, only seen him twice. His name is Owain Wyn Evans.
He certainly is eye catching. This morning he wore an off pink three piece suit with very strategically placed jewellery!
Has anyone else seen him in the mornings?
Good grief...never seen him before, don't want to see him again.
I want the TV weather from a trained meteorologist, not a "read-it-from-autocue" presenter, who obviously wants to make a name for himself.
I love him!
His own style!
I think he's started a new fashion of men wearing brooches in the lapel buttonholes.
See if it catches on.
His manner is such he could host a chat show.
I'm afraid my finger would be hovering over the remote control if he was doing the weather in my region. I just want a clear, calm forecast, as with the BBC 1 presenters after the news, not some sort of self-aggrandizing 'performance'. ITV Central have someone called Des Coleman who's full of himself, and thinks he's in some sort of rap video
Hopkirk...a "weather presenter" is just that...somebody who reads a script written for them. They have very little meteorogical knowledge...usually a short "get to know the basics" course. All the ITV presenters and BBC local presenters are like this.
The BBC national people are proper qualified meteorologists who prepare their own forecasts...and it shows.
I don’t mind her.The ones who really irritate me are smarmy Nick Miller,Matt Taylor who, when he speeds up sounds like Jimmy Macjimmy and Stavros who all looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights.
