that's right Barry - sister was complaining about Gogglebox not subtitled last Friday - she only has Freeview - I have SkyQ and I was blaming it on SkyQ. There are a lot of programmes not being subtitled.
A young lad on tonight with a brain tumour I think on ITV or may be BBC - I was looking forward to it - I had to ring sister - again me blaming SkyQ - no she wasn't getting on Freeview either and she couldn't understand half of it either.
I will be emailing to the "authorities" - powers that be - but don't know where to email to get answers.
JJ, pointless emailing the authorities. The subtitles are down due to an incident that affected vital equipment - those responsible are trying to get it sorted, they want to get back to normal as soon as possible.
Complaining won't make them any better or faster - it is not deliberate or negligent.
When you first complained about lack of subtitles I told you they were down on some channels because of this incident but you insisted it was Sky's fault.
Watching through a Sky box makes no difference to the current problems, Margaret. If the channel isn't broadcasting subtitles no medium will be able to transmit them.
The programme that jj referred to yesterday was "Tom Parker: Inside My Head" Ch4...if ever you feel things aren't going your way, watch this and be grateful.
