Nothing wrong with his voice. As an ex public school girl, we don't all speak with "plums in our mouths".

I can't understand on Antiques Road Trip why they are always driving down such narrow lanes in expensive old cars.

Do you really think they drive all the way between venues? How come the cameras are in just the right place to film them? Its obviously all a set up to film them for a few hundred yards so no doubt the roads are cleared anyway.

Just saying that the only roads we see them on are very narrow lanes.
Certainly don't think they drive all that way or go on a scooter or bike, either.

There must be days between the purchases of the items and the auction: what they buy has to be catalogued by the auction house and put on the internet. Each block of five shows must take weeks to film.
