APG.......that is two blokes dancing at the same time, not dancing together.
I also missed the kissing and cuddling.
"I also missed the kissing and cuddling"
then you can watch on saturdays to get your fix!
#personally i have never seen them cuddle, much less kiss.
They hug, and have their arm round each other (like all of the other dancers)
//////They hug, and have their arm round each other (like all of the other dancers)/////

Quite....the heterosexual ones.
I'm glad younger men these days show their emotions and are not repressed. Much more natural.
Men were never repressed......they were just respectful.
Times have changed, in this case for the better, no one should feel they have to be ashamed of who they are living in the closet has made too many people desperately unhappy.
how do you know they are all heterosexual sqad?
"Dancing is a heterosexual pastime".
Rubbish!
bednobs ////////How do you know they are all heterosexual sqad?/////

True,very true.

jinge.....I am describing my idea of ballroom dancing.
Disagree Sqad. Men were emotionally repressed from s young age - a boy's don't cry culture! Nothing respectful about that. Thank goodness those days have gone. Nothing to do with hetrosexual or homosexual. It's good to see men hugging.
Pat.....we will have to agree to disagree.
Indeed we will :o)
I am so proud of how my dad reacted to my kid brother coming out to him.
His words to him made me even prouder - 'I don't care who you love as long as they love you back and you are happy'
I didn't think I could love my father more than I do.
I'm not in the least bit homophobic, but two men dancing Ballroom just looks ridiculous. Ballroom is designed for two members of the opposite sex -that's why they have a male lead. Any other type of dancing, yes go for it if that's what floats your boat, but Ballroom is meant to be danced by a man & woman and anything else just looks silly.
I agree APG - men dancing ballroom together is just plain embarrassing. Have they been asked to do a Viennese Waltz yet? Would look absurd.
but its common to see 2 women dancing ballroom!
I actually feel the same about ballroom APG, because of the holds I suppose. It looks unnatural. But other forms of dance it's seems fine. I never would dance a ballroom dance with other women, but it used to be quite usual, especially amongst older women. And because of my height, I found myself always having to take the lead when we did ballroom dancing at my girls school.

Common sense at last at 12:33 ! I said something on here recently about these two dancing together and was jumped on from a great height - not that I give a toss mind. Johaness, who is a FABULOUS dancer should be dancing with a woman like he has in recent years, but it's just the BBC and their 'agenda' !! I just don't watch them.
//Johaness, who is a FABULOUS dancer should be dancing with a woman like he has in recent years//

Why? Perhaps he want's to dance with a man?
The professionals don't have a choice, they have to take what they are given.
The amusing part here is that there are a huge number of Gay men do Ballroom dancing with female partners . I 'm not sure if the rules changed, that they would all of a sudden go get a male partner.
