I'm all for giving confidence to deaf children and encouraging gay people to be themselves but Strictly is a dance competition. It's about the technical stuff, the footwork, the framework, the choreography ... its not about being "inclusive" or "enlightening" or ensuring minorities are not left out.
Without going too far off-topic a prime example would be the blatant hijacking of Mother's Day by single or co-habiting Fathers. Cards have now made their way onto the shelves that read, "To my Dad(s) on Mother's Day."
Mother's Day is for mothers, Father's Day is for fathers and dancing competitions are for dancing.
She's a beautiful girl though and such an amazing talent and I'm sure will go far.
