Rose and Giovanni...took my breath away, and brought tears to my eyes. Brilliant.

Same here! It was so unexpected to suddenly have silence, but they carried on dancing! It was wonderful.
Just wish they would get rid of Motsi. I think Craig is genuinely cheesed off with her!
And yes that lasts dance was lovely. But I am still recovering from watching that amazing Charleston.
Emotional and powerful.
Glad A J had a bad week, she seemed overconfident, she won't be in the dance off though. Thought that Charleston was brilliant, and Rose danced beautifully as usual.
Will this be another strictly romance, I wonder?
Giovanni said very audibly "I love you'.
I had already rewound Rhys 3 times to see his amazing charleston so was late seeing Rose who I absolutely love. A very powerful performance. All couples performed so well though, so it will be such a difficult choice for who leaves.
I actually didn't like the dance and the song was hideous.

The Charleston was amazing in my opinion.
I see Motsi came as a highlighter pen.
I love that song Lady CG. But I think the silence was unnecessary
im just on the charleston now as i am a bit behind

Do you really Lottie? It was a rather effective, and unexpected way to illustrate what Rose's world is like when she dances.
That song for me was akin to scraping your nails down a blackboard. It sets my teeth on edge.

I appreciate the lady is deaf and the two guys are gayer than a yellow duster but this is a dancing competition and it should be about dancing and dancing alone.
its not (just) about dncing though. The program entreats you to vote for your "favourite" couple not the best dancers
'Couple's Choice' always incorporates something very personal and tonight's did that beautifully for me.
Rose's World must be like that whether she's dancing, showering or pegging the washing out. I agree it's very humbling to get a glimpse of what that world is like but, as I said before, this is dancing competition.
for example, just watched the samba and it made me smile, more than any other dance so far, despite not being as technically good as the charleston

But it is not a competition that is judged solely by professional judges...and it shouldn't be compared to such contests. It's a whole different ballgame.
If that silent moment conveys what it is to dance when deaf, if it gives confidence to deaf children...then it has served a purpose.
