After the musical show on comes that foul mouthed totally unfunny alleged Scottish comedian.Couldn’t turn him off quickly enough.

Comedy is probably the most subjective model of entertainment there is, with one person helpless with laughter at a comedian's output, and the next either frozen with humourlessness, or incandesent with offence, sometimes both.

I love Billy Conolly, his swearing doesn't bother me in the slightest - after more than four decades working with telephone engineers, it would be odd if I was upset by any 'strong' language.

But like any other comedian, he is a 'marmite' entity, and clearly he doesn't appeal to you grumpy, which is entirely fair enough.

The incontinence section ironically probably produced a few leaky bladders of its own for the viewers

He was funny in the very early days until he began to believe his own publicity, and that he is some kind of 'national treasure'. He should have retired quietly to his home in the Florida Keys.

I dont find these modern stand up so called comedians funny at all.

If you have to revert /depend on profanities and reference to sex etc to get a laugh - well I don't call you a comedian

You're not alone in that Bazile - I think that's why someone like Bill Bailey is so popular
