Don't know whether this should be in Technology. (YouTube) Anyway here goes - you know when you go to "Search" for something the little alphabet comes up. You click onto the various letters of what you are looking for so for instance you are looking for (can't even think)

The Radford Family, the Radford word comes up on the left side and blurring word Family or Hardware - I feel you should be able to go back over to the Radford Family (eg) and click on that and the whole thing comes up, but no - you have to keep on clicking on the alphabet until you get Family.

Surely it should be quicker than that.

It would be quicker if you used voice search and spoke in to your remote control
"Search for Radford Family"

JJ you can use the multi select keys on the remote and you don;t have to start at the start so you can start with "radford" rather than "the". Also below the search bit where the letters are typed the suggestions are listed, at any time you can go down to that list and scroll down it.

As barry has said...it's easier and quicker to use voice search on any equipment that has it. I don't have Sky, but use voice search on my LG Smart TV...as I speak, the words (by magic!) appear on the screen and the TV then answers me (in proper English, too).

yea but yea - I have a speech impediment and so the voice control doesn't recognise my words LOL


TTT - do know about the use of "the" never use that - I did ask the Sky lad over in my mall and he said it can't be done

Surely if you type in Radford, you then get a search result of a few items and you just select one?
