Just binge-watched all 6 episodes of series 3 of After Life. After the first 3 episodes, i began to think it wasn't as good as the first two series. However, those last 3 episodes dragged it right back into line with both series 1 and 2. Brilliant - if ever so poignant - watch.
Ken Ricky is a total animal lover. I follow him on Facebook. You can tell he loves dogs and that dogs love him from the series - and what a beautiful dog it is in the series. I love Ricky and dogs.
SHIRLEY, you can watch it for £5.99 as many times as you wish and Series 1 and 2 I think. You join, pay for one month at the lowest rate, and cancel by the end month. It is well worth it. We can cancel Netflix at anytime we want.
Me too Shirley. It perhaps wrong to say, but i don't like people who don't like animals. We don't have friends who don't like animals (especially dogs). I like dogs more than I like people, except people that like dogs!! ;0)
True Ladybirder, we have watched series 1, 2 and now 3 all in one week!! I watched 2 and 3 a few months back and watched them both again with hubby last week before we watched 3.
True Pixie. I did cringe though at some of the visual activities and language in the last series, although the were probably accurate as to how some people behave, but a bit over the top. Ricky certainly arouses emotions with his humour, bless him. I would love to meet him. I believe that I would be meeting a lovely, understanding and caring person.
You will definitely need your brother Shirley. I could never have hoped on my own. I don't do technology. I believe you will need something called a box!! That might not because real name for it!!!! Netflix has been my saviour over some very dark days!
I get that feeling, lottie... and I like his stand-up generally, but for Afterlife, I think that wasn't really the right place for some of it. A little jarring.
Seen series 1, started series 2, but didn't finish it. My OH doesn't like it, but I will catch up soon. There is so many other good series of other dramas at the moment. Spoilt for choice.
