Didn't binge watch after all. Too tired. But did watch episode 2 and enjoyed it.
It’s brilliant!! First programme that has had me gripped for a LONG time!!
Still watchable.

Perhaps I gave up too easily.
It's just that there are certain swear words I really don't like, and as soon as I heard one of them in the first episode, I turned it off.
I might give it another go.
Barisal, I agree with you , but after the first hearing of the c word I can fade it out .
Has he put Gareth's stapler in jelly yet?
Question Author
Ooo Anne, was that used as well?
It was the 4 letter word beginning with t and ending in t that made me turn off.
Tw* t. ?
Question Author
Yes, and it was an a not an i.
I don’t see that as bad language . Folk are funny :-)

It's the way I was brought up Anne. There was never any swearing in our house, my Mother wouldn't stand for it even when I was an adult.
Just got used to it now, and although I do swear occasionally, I don't like to hear too much of it.
Similar background.. Barsel.
Absolutely loved last night's episode. Getting better and better. Martin Freeman is SO good in this role. Roll on next week !
I too was brought up in a non swearing house. I never heard any relationships are except my mother's would use the word Shlt under her breath Shenzhen dropped something. But I don't mind hearing swearing in dramas which represent people who do swear a lot. It goes over my head. I swear occasionally but not in public and usually under my breath. Same as hubby! My son has never sworn in front of us and probably not among friends or his wife.
I never heard my father or any relations swear....
Shenzhen??? When she
Half asleep at present!!!
It is becoming increasingly difficult to find a series which doesn't involve a Lesbian, gay or devoid of the "F" word.

It is our brave new world.
As for Twit - I worked in a very small primary school when my son was little and attended the school. My office was next to the large classroom where the headmistress taught the older children - a lovely and very religious lady. One day she called one of the kids a twit but not with the i. She had no idea what she had done, but there were a few of the kids who couldn't stop laughing. I presume they were used to hearing it used as a swear word. And they weren't kids that came from rough families - far from it. A lot of country rich gentry are profuse swearers!!
The one word i absolutely hate and never use begins with a c and ends with a t !!!

Carrot ;0)

I must admit I think f word and sometimes utter it, especially when I look through the news and politics section on A B recently!!
I didn't know the difference between smiggy stevo. Harpo. Also couldn't understand how they missed each other in the mad drug house. Ott for me
