our DVD player was working fine one day then the next it wouldn't recognise any of our DVD's. I think the lazer may have died, if this is the case, can i replace it and where can i get a replacement from?

You can get a new DVD player for 29. It's probably more hassle than it's worth trying to fix the old one unless it's a hyper expensive all signing and dancing writer/reader etc etc

They have them on Amazon too for 19.99

reviews of them are good too.

You can get CD lens cleaning discs that have small brushes on them to get fluff and stuff off the lenses but not sure if it will do the trick.

You can get them for around 20 in places like Aldis with a 3 year guarantee. It is best to chuck it away if it doesn't work and get a new one.

Stupid question but have you put the DVD in right?
