Thanks all for all your replies. I live in Canada so the BBC is not available while Netflix and Prime is. I have certainly enjoyed all the BBC programmes such as Downton Abbey which is why I enquired

The Queen’s Gambit is excellent.

I’ve just finished watching ‘Black Butterflies’ on Netflix. I’m not sure it’s to everyone’s taste but it’s dark, intriguing, full of twists and as a warning to to easily offended, quite … erm …. graphic.
