Did anybody else see Sam Smith on the Graham Norton Show last night? I felt really uncomfortable watcning him . But i love his voice.

MissT - I ddn't know he was on last night or I would have watched. I feel exactly as you do, dare I say it, I think he is slightly odd, but I love his voice and his songs and have done so for as long as I can remember. Yes, sorry I missed him.

He was wearing boots with at least 8 inch platform soles and he is a big tall bloke . But i should call him 'They' i believe. It was all very weird. He couldn't walk in them properly. I thought he was going to fall off the stage.

He used to be a quiet shy man. He has a lovely voice Naomi. Quite famous. great songwriter too.

Quite a long time ago he declared that he wanted to be known as 'they' or 'their' and so on and the Daily Mail exploits this to the max whenever they have an article on him!

I don't think that they identify as "gay", btw...that would be much too mainstream!
