Spooks series 2

In series 1 we were left on a cliffhanger not knowing whether Tom's girlfriend and her daughter were blown up. I have been through series 2 and there is not a follow up on this though on the extras there is a scene where she gets released. Did I miss a programme somewhere or is this in series 3? If I did miss it which disc was it on? Many thanks.

i thought it was answered in the same episode ?

it wasnt a bomb it was just a decoy and they were perfectly safe.

that episode is what stopped me watching this show again.
