It's not worth mentioning in my opinion but some may see it as relevant and topical in the sense that you and others have posted on a thread commenting on grammar. It will all seem petty in the morning.
21:15 Ah I see missing apostrophe! Probably the most moronic point ever made on AB and that's up against some pretty stiff competition. The post you refer to is about people who say the wrong things out of ignorance. We all make omissions and errors when bashing out a post that does not mean we believe they are correct when they are pointed out. Gawd you must be so hard up me old china.
I'm point out the lack of any parallel here. I am not claiming my error is not an error. I just bashed out the question didn't check it back, that's all. The post refered to is not that. I'm not shooting the messanger, there is no message just an irrelevant incorrect "parallel". Surprised you cannot see that MrMod.
I'll leave you to it ToraToraTora as you seem to have hold of the wrong end of the stick. I was trying to be helpful by explaining royfromaus's comment which you had queried. That's all. Have a good evening.
Note to self- maybe just stick to Crosswords which is why I came here. (Although in Quizzes the Scottish anagrams quiz caused some friction today!)
"I was trying to be helpful by explaining royfromaus's comment which you had queried. " - but you were not being helpful you were conflating an irrelevant parallel. As I have said above I know my errors. The people in the post mentioned at 21:15 think they are correct, I do not. There is no parallel. All my errors I know and acknowledge, just because I say "It's" when I mean "its" does not mean I believe I am correct, it's a typo born out of bashing a post out. If the section was grammatically dependent then I'd take more time to be accurate. It's an error, pure and simple.
