I think that the T W A U's don't take in to consideration that the person answering is in a strange environment, is under pressure to answer in seconds and will do so based on gut rather than logic.

That's the beauty of telly quizzes though. We sprawl on our sofas, mug of tea in hand while the nervous contestant, who probably can't remember their own name panics, blurts out some tosh. Also producers like having someone with "personality", even if they're as thick as doo-daa.

I learnt what a day was when I was 5. The fact is that some would rather pick a fight with me than join in a light hearted post.

Don't think the question setter did the contestant any favours by using "celestial body" which may have distracted them. Using planet instead might have been more helpful.

Yes but that's the idea. As I have said before you have to destill the real question out of the actual question. He could have asked: "What do we call one rotation of the earth?" They do that a lot on the chase.
