What's the film?

Produced in the seventies possibly early eighties. It involved an island where famous people go when their dead. The two main characters are a famous somebody (filmstar or something) and his assassin. They stay on the island until their fame in the living world recedes. The obvious ending would be that the assassin stays longer than the man he killed but not absolutely sure.

The film is called "Wings Of Fame" and it came out in 1990.
