Dennis Weaver

I heard on the news that Dennis Weaver died this week, its a shame. I only know him from Steven Spielbergs first film 'Duel', What else was he in?

He made his name in Gunsmoke.And his big starring role was as McCloud in the series of the same name.

He was in a programme called McCloud in the 70's where he was a Texas ranger seconded to the New York Police Department.

Two of my favourite films of his were Duel at Diablo, with James Garner and Sidney Poitier, and The Ordeal Of Dr Mudd.

Well i've seen him in something but i never watched any of these you've mentioned on here so don't know what i've seen him in!

He waa also in Gentle Ben - the childrens program with the grizly bear set in the florida everglades.

The kid that was in gentle ben has been in a few TV movies recently. He looks exactly the same as he did then, only his hair has seriously receded.
