Of all the contestants so far on this game show, what has been the shortest number of games that someone has been on before being picked to play? and also the longest number before being picked?

no idea about the shortes, but lucy seems to have been on for ages! they like the keep the characters most popular with audiences and who play a good part in the show.

Garvan got on after seven games. I think Lucy is now the longest-serving, and rumours from people who've been to the tapings suggest she'll be there for a while yet. The previous longest-serving contestant was Helen, who got into the chair on her 33rd show.
