missing girl story in the bill???

is it me or have i missed an episode of the bill?a few weeks back they had a story of the girl who went missing and they suspected her dad.can anyone help!

I've just logged on to ask this question. I thought I was going mad. How can they just drop a storyline like that?

I read somewhere else that the actor who played the dad has been signed up for a long contract, so perhaps it is gonna be a long story. However IT MAY be that the story got pulled because it was too close to real events, as they do, but I can't think of any similar real life events off hand.
