In the late 1970's I remember a music video interlude that sometimes was played before the UK childrens programme TISWAS on a Saturday morning on ITV West. It was a modern classical orchestral piece, the group were dressed in period costume (Charles II - I think) and had silver faceless masks (a bit like sword fencing masks). Does anyone remember who they were and what the music piece was?

They are called Rondo Veneziano, here's a link to their sire, it has loads of music samples you should find it there somewhere. Great music! :) enjoy bex pitt.

And, if memory serves right I think the music you remember is the one on the second page of the site where the violin floats into view with the orchestra on it? It's my fave. Click on the 'welcome' then on the next page 'albums' then click each album as you wish to hear all the tracks It's only samples but there are loads.
