1970`s French film title

I have a memory of seeing a French film/comedy with a plotline basically about a dentist/doctor who fails his driving test, but he`s ordered a new car in which he`s committed to drive his family on their annual summer holiday! Lots of anguish, lots of laughs ensue! Early to mid 1970s l think, and in colour not b/w. Hoping someone might remember the title from this scant description. Thanks.
