anyone remember a kids tv prog late 60`s - early 70`s feauturing 2 russian? boys called yashak and plashak or something like that

If you are talking live-action, it doesn't ring a bell.

The names remind me of a 1960's marionette series from sweden, "Patrick and Putrick".
