CH4 Series where's it gone ???

At the same time that -- Invasion -- started a series started where a diver speared a whale like creature, and got dragged underwater to his death. A couple of episodes followed with one showing the creature dead and being investigated, it looked like a mini-series like Invasion. Can't remember what it was called. Anyone know what happened to it

hi, it was itv1 called Surface, it end up being demoted to itv2, it finnished about 3 weeks ago.


ending was left wide open for a second series though.
