What was the name of the programme in which various heroes transformed into other animals. I remember one was a bird. HELP!!!!!

The only thing like that I can think of is The Arabian Knights, a cartoon which was part of The Banana Splits show. According to this link, it was only Bez (not the bloke from Happy Mondays) who had this particular power - "siiiiize of an elephant!"
