been on holiday and missed emmerdale, can anyone tell me what exactly has marlon and his wife won?..i seen the raffle for the house but also they needed a huge deposit and have now taken on a mortgage..so what was it?...cheers in advance

I think they won a house at a much cheaper rate than the others on the same development. It was all a fix to keep the locals happy after they complained that no-one from the village could afford the properties.

It's all getting a bit tacky jp. Yes they did win the house but Marlon couldn't afford the deposit, so Viv has given it to them on the proviso that Donna becomes a surrogate mother for her.

Thay have a catch-up and preview section on Corrie, so I'm thinking they'll probably have one for Emmerdale as well. I'd check, but their site is 'down' for maintenance at the mo!
